NLC IS OFFERING 2 PROGRAMS focused on Indigenous students. 1) enhanced basic security training program and 2) emergency worker tier one and tier two. The Enhanced Basic Security program for 12 individuals at Fort Nelson, Chetwynd, and Dawson Creek NLC campuses. All program materials and tuition will be paid. Enhanced Basic Security Program.
• Fort Nelson NLC campus : February 8- March 2, 2021
• Chetwynd NLC campus February 16th- March 5, 2021
• Dawson Creek Campus February 22-March 12, 2021
Basic security and exam, OFA1, Transportation Endorsement, S100/S185, Wilderness Awareness/Radio Communications, Pipeline construction safety, WHMIS/Transportation of dangerous goods, ground disturbance, H2S alive.

Emergency Worker Program all held on Dawson Creek Campus:
Tier One: this will be used as a pool to recruit into tier two of emergency worker. Courses: WHMIS/Transportation of dangerous goods, Fall protection, confined space and entry monitor, S100& fire watch, H2S alive.
• Group one 12 seats: February 8- 13, 2021
• Group two 12 seats: February 16-20th, 2021.
Tier two: This will lead if they complete tier two into tier three and four when we offer hopefully spring/summer 2021 to included high angle rescue and swift water rescue.
Tier two 8 seats- chosen from tier one groups. March 8- April 4th.
