Bat Box Installations
September 13, 2023
The Blueberry River First Nations Lands Department is installing bat boxes in the Pink Mountain area. We are seeking guidance from
Elders and up to five BRFN monitors to help us undertake this work.
DATES: September 13-22, 2023
September 13: Meet at the BRFN Lands Office in Buick Creek. Travel
to Royal Camp Lodge 147.
September 14 to 15: Pink Mountain, site selection and bat box repairs.
September 18 to 22: Pink Mountain, bat box installation and
monitoring.
Accommodations and meals will be provided at Royal Camp Lodge 147
Must be comfortable walking on foot on rough terrain, and able to be outside all day in a variety of weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
